Adhitivo Fugolastic Mapei for Glue Mortar 1 kg

Mapei's Fugolastic is an aqueous dispersion of synthetic polymers that, mixed with cement-based products to improve the adhesion of adhesive mortar in grouting between ceramic tiles.

CARACTERISTICS

Fugolastic provides them with the following properties:

• More compactness and abrasion resistance.
• Optimal cement hydration and better adhesion on the edges of the tiles.
• Lower porosity (comparing electron microscope photos of the cementitious matrix of a Keracolor mixed with water and another with Fugolastic, it is observed that in the second one the acicular crystals of the cement are coated by polymer) and absorption; consequently, greater ease of cleaning the joints

Fugolastic can be mixed with Keracolor of any color, without altering them at all, on the contrary, fixing them permanently

AIMPORTABLE VIEWS

• Never add water to the mixture of Keracolor FF or GG prepared with Fugolastic.
• Do not use too fluid mixtures to avoid Fugolastic or pigment upwelling.
• Do not use Fugolastic in the Keracolor FF or GG mixture for grouting terracotta floors or porous or rough surfaces. For grouting polished porcelain stoneware perform a preliminary test to verify its cleanliness.
• The mixture of Keracolor FF or GG with Fugolastic cannot be used for elastic expansion joints and therefore subject to movement.

APPLICATION FIELDS

• Fugolastic replaces the mixing water of Keracolor FF and GG cement mortars, to improve adhesion, mechanical strength and decrease porosity and absorption.
• Together they are classified as CG2, cementitious grout for joints, improved according to prEN 13888
