Mape-Antique Allettamento is a premixed, cement-free, powdered masonry mortar composed of natural hydraulic lime (NHL) and Eco-Puzolana, natural sands, special additives, microfibers, according to a formula developed in MAPEI's research laboratories. Based on EN 998-2, the product can be classified as G: "General purpose performance guaranteed masonry mortar for exterior use in elements subject to structural requirements", of Class M 5, since it achieves a compressive strength > 5 N/mm²,.
CARACTERISTICS
- Mape-Antique Allettamento, after mixing with water, to be carried out in a concrete mixer, becomes a salt-resistant masonry mortar with a plastic-thixotropic consistency, easily worked with a trowel.
- Thanks to its composition, Mape-Antique Allettamento has a very low hygrometric shrinkage that drastically reduces the risk of cracks appearing in the mortar. It also has properties that make the product resistant to various chemical-physical aggressions, such as soluble salts, freeze-thaw cycles, the washing action of rainwater and the alkali-acid reaction.
- In the data table in the table below, Mape-Antique Allettamento has a very low hygrometric shrinkage, which drastically reduces the risk of cracks appearing in the mortar.
- In the technical data table (in the Application Data and Final Performance sections) some typical values, linked to the main characteristics, both in the fresh and hardened state, of Mape-Antique Allettamento, are given.
