Mapei Monofinish Mortar Bag 22 kg

Monofinish is a single-component mortar composed of high-strength cements, selected fine-grained aggregates, special additives and synthetic polymers in powder form, according to a formula developed at MAPEI Research Laboratories.

CARACTERISTICS

• Mixing Monofinish with water results in a mass that is easy to apply, even vertically, in a thickness of up to 2-3 mm per coat.
• Monofinish, thanks to the high content of synthetic resins, has an excellent adhesion on all concrete surfaces and, after hardening, it becomes a compact and resistant layer
• Monofinish complies with the principles defined in EN 1504-9 ("Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures: definitions, requirements, quality control and conformity assessment. General principles for the use of products and systems"), as well as the minimum requirements set by EN 1504-3 ("Structural and non-structural repair") for non-structural mortars of class R2 and the requirements set by EN 1504-2 as coating (C) according to the MC and IR principles ("Concrete surface protection systems")

Important warnings

• Do not use Monofinish for thick repairs (use Mapegrout Tissotropico, Mapegrout T40, Mapegrout BM or Mapegrout Colabile)
• Do not use Monofinish for thick repairs.
• Do not apply Monofinish at temperatures below +5 °C.
• Do not add cement or aggregates to Monofinish.
• For the protection of hydraulic structures and surfaces subject to abrasion the use of Mapefinish is preferable.
