Keracolor FF consists of a mixture of cement, particularly fine-grained aggregates, special polymers, special additives and pigments. The use of special water-repellent additives (DropEffect® technology) makes it possible to obtain grouts characterized by high water-repellency and, in addition, reduced soiling and excellent durability

Mixed with water in the indicated proportions and properly used, it allows the obtaining of grouts with the following characteristics

RECOMMENDATIONS
Recommendations
Do not mix Keracolor FF with cement or other products and never add water to the setting mixture
.
- Never mix Keracolor FF with brackish or dirty water.
- Use the product at temperatures between +5 °C and +35 °C.
- The water in the mixture must be dosed accurately, since an excess can promote the appearance of a whitish patina on the surface of the grout (efflorescence). If mixtures with different mixing ratios are prepared, it is possible that they will have different color shades. The appearance of efflorescence on the grout surface is due to the formation of calcium carbonate and may also be caused by residual moisture contained in adhesives or in mortars that are not fully hydrated or in substrates that are not dry or not adequately protected from rising damp.
- After filling the joints with the mixture, it is not advisable to sprinkle the grouts with Keracolor FF powder, to avoid dehomogeneities of color or reduction of mechanical resistance.
- Dilatation and splitting joints, present on walls and floors, should never be filled with Keracolor FF, but with MAPEI elastic sealants.
- The surfaces of some tiles or stone materials sometimes present microporosities or roughness. It is advisable to carry out a preliminary test to check that it can be cleaned and, when necessary, apply a protective treatment on the surface, preventing it from penetrating into the joints

Grouting both outdoors and indoors of ceramic floor and wall tiles of all types (single-fired, double-fired, porcelain stoneware, etc.), stone material (natural stone, marble, granite, agglomerates, etc.), vitreous and marble mosaic.
