CARACTERISTICS

MapePUR Roof Foam G is characterized by its reduced rate of confined expansion to prevent them from lifting the bonded component in place, and are waterproof and resistant to temperatures from -40°C to +90°C, moisture and the effect of aging. The foam adheres well to all materials normally used in the construction industry, such as masonry, concrete, plaster, wood, metal, glass, Styrofoam, PVC and rigid polyurethane foam, and is also resistant to mold and mildew. Once hardened MapePUR Roof Foam G can be cut, sanded, ground, drilled, skimmed with cementitious products and painted. According to German DIN 4102 standards they are in flammability class B2. MapePUR Roof Foam G is certified as windproof.

AImportant caveats

A.

Neither version of the product, hand application and gun application, will adhere to polyethylene, silicone or Teflon. In addition, once hardened, the foam must be protected from direct UV exposure to prevent surface damage.

The amount of foam that expands depends on the size and shape of the cavity or space to be filled, the amount of moisture in the substrate, the temperature of the can and how well the various components of the can are mixed.

.
