SikaMur® InjectoCream-100 is a new concept for controlling dampness by capillarity. SikaMur® InjectoCream-100 is a water-repellent substance, which comes in 600 ml pellets or 300 ml cartridges.

It is inserted into a series of holes made in mortar or masonry using a gun - an injection pump is not necessary. Once injected into the mortar, SikaMur® InjectoCream-100 disperses into the wet wall to form a water repellent barrier (DPC – Damp Proof Course), allowing the wall to dry and blocking future rising damp.

SikaMur® InjectoCream-100 meets the requirements of WTA Guideline 4-4-04/D "Injection of masonry to avoid capillary moisture content".


APPLICATIONS

SikaMur® InjectoCream-100 can be used to treat capillary damp on most wall supports:

  • Brick
  • Walls with air chamber
  • Stone walls, etc.


CHARACTERISTICS

  • Easy to install (low risk of error, does not depend on the operator).
  • Single component, ready to use.
  • Quick to install (no “double drilling”, no need to wait for the liquid to penetrate by pressure or gravity).
  • No additional sealing is necessary beforehand around the holes (as is the case in pressure systems).
  • Quick to inject (no waiting times required to pump the material as with pressure injections and no need to refill as with gravity injections).
  • Constant application rate (easy to calculate the amount of material that will be needed).
  • Does not require a special and expensive pump.
  • Elimination of spills and dirt (there is no problem of spills on walls, gaps or service pipes).
  • Concentrated formula with 80% active ingredients (introduces a low amount of inactive substances into the wall - great effectiveness compared to less concentrated materials).
  • Low hazard, water based - non-flammable, not injected under pressure.
  • Low amount of waste.
  • Little loss of material.
  • There is no risk of efflorescence (as with capillary damp treatments with silicones).
