Char-Broil Performance 3500 Charcoal and Firewood Barbecue

The Char-Broil Performance 3500 barbecue has a crank handle with which we can raise or lower the fuel grill bringing it closer or separating it from the grill of the food being cooked to have absolute control of the heating power.

The barbecue also has a lower tray where all the ashes go. Just take it out and throw the ashes away.

It has a window that facilitates access to the area where the heat source, charcoal, is located. The air inlet is controlled from the sides of the barbecue.

CARE OF THE PAINT:

The barbecue is painted with a long-lasting anti-catholic powder paint that is resistant up to 300 ºC. A mistake barbecue owners sometimes make is that they fill the barbecue with too much charcoal, close the lid and the temperature inside the barbecue soars. If the temperature inside the drawer exceeds 300°C (approx.), the paint may peel off. These warnings are present in the manual, so they are not covered by the warranty. However, if this happens to you, with a fine sandpaper for metal and a spray of anti-heat paint you can restore your barbecue quickly.
Remember that it is not always necessary to lower the lid to cook with Char-Broil barbecues. Only in very specific cases such as when smoking, for example. To cook with the lid closed you have to control the temperature very well with just the right embers.

CARE OF THE GRILL:

The grill is made of enameled cast iron, sturdy, non-deformable and durable. When the grill is still hot we will take the opportunity to scrape it with the metal brush and remove all remaining debris.

PROTECT THE BARBECUE:

If you store your Char-Broil barbecue outdoors and it is exposed to rain, sun, air, humidity etc. it is highly recommended to have a cover to protect your barbecue from the elements.
