Mapegrout SV is a single-component premixed mortar in powder form, composed of specific hydraulic binders, high-strength cements, selected aggregates and special additives, according to a formula developed in MAPEI's Research Laboratories. By appropriately varying the amount of water, Mapegrout SV acquires a fluid or superfluid consistency, which makes the mortar suitable to be poured, even in high thicknesses (up to 5 cm), without risk of segregation, in a defined enclosure or formwork.
CARACTERISTICS
- For thicknesses greater than 5 cm, Mapegrout SV should be mixed with 40% of Mortar Gravel 6/10. Thanks to its rapid hardening Mapegrout SV is passable, even for wheeled vehicles, about 2 hours after application, at a temperature of +20° C.
- Its particular composition and the special additives it contains give the mortar high mechanical performance, even in the long term, impermeability to water and high resistance to abrasion.
- Mapegrout SV complies with the requirements of EN 1504-9 ("Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures - Definitions, requirements, quality control and conformity assessment - General principles for the use of products and systems") and the minimum requirements established by EN 1504-3 ("Structural and non-structural repair") for structural mortars of class R4
