Primer G is a synthetic resin-based primer that, once applied, dries to an elastic, compact and glossy film. This film consolidates surfaces, if necessary, and improves the adhesion of plasters, paints, wallpaper adhesives, glues, tile adhesives and plaster mortars.

CARACTERISTICS

• Primer Primer G, on a gypsum or cement surface, prevents the chemical reaction between the sulfates in the gypsum and the aluminates in the cement which, in the presence of humidity, tend to form a salt, called ettringite, which causes the two elements to separate.
• In wallpapering operations, the application of Primer G on the wall reduces adhesive consumption and facilitates the removal of the coating.
• In the installation of spray plaster, Primer G prevents the substrate from absorbing water quickly, prolongs the workability time and prevents the formation of cracks due to shrinkage.
• In the placement of self-leveling mortars, Primer G reduces the formation of bubbles and prevents drying too quickly, thus favoring self-leveling.
• Primer G is non-flammable and can therefore be used in closed, unventilated places without taking any precautions.

• Primer G should not be considered as a waterproofing for plaster, although it does considerably reduce its porosity and absorption.
